Welcome

The Woodmeet website is a collaborative venture between Cornish Woodmeet and South Devon Woodmeet.

The term 'WoodMeet' was coined in 2000 at a public meeting attended by a cross-section of interested parties in the woodland sector in Cornwall. The purpose of the newly formed WoodMeet was to take advantage of European and UK funding opportunities and to promote greater networking and collobration within the sector.

Building on the success of Cornish WoodMeet, South Devon WoodMeet was created in 2005. The aim is to stimulate the use of more loaclly derived timber in the Tamar Valley Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty (AONB), South Devon AONB and Dartmoor National Park.

The WoodMeet website provides access to the latest news and events, allows you to send messages to other members and is a source of industry information.
